Common transfer cases we're asked for

Transfer case part numbers vary by year and gearbox, so the VIN is the quickest way for us to match yours.
Part-time or full-time?
A part-time transfer case locks the front and rear together when it's engaged, so it should only be engaged on loose surfaces. A full-time unit has a centre diff and can run on bitumen. Some, like Mitsubishi's Super Select, do both. Make sure the replacement is the same type as the one you're taking out.
Tyres matter on full-time 4x4s
Running mismatched tyre sizes or worn and new tyres together on a full-time 4x4 makes the centre diff work constantly and wears it out. Fix the tyres when you fit the transfer case.
Electric shift units
Many newer transfer cases use an electric shift motor and actuator. Tell us whether yours is lever or button operated so we send the right one.

Used parts come with our 90-day Silver warranty, and you can upgrade to Gold (180 days) or Platinum (365 days) when you buy (see our terms of sale).
