Terms & Conditions
1. General
All sales are subject to these Terms & Conditions. By purchasing from Darwin 4×4 Cars & Commercials (“we”,
“our”, “us”), you agree to these terms in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
2. Warranty
• Used parts are sold with a 3-month warranty from date of purchase, in line with ACL.
• Extended warranty may be available at additional cost — ask our staff at time of purchase.
• Warranty covers replacement or repair of the faulty part only. Labour, towing, fluids or consequential
loss are not covered.
• Warranty is void if the part has been altered, dismantled, overheated, incorrectly installed, or used for
racing/off-road competition.
3. Returns & Refunds
• Returns are only accepted if a part is faulty or not fit for purpose under ACL.
• No returns for change of mind, ordering errors, or if you no longer need the part.
• Returned parts must be in the same condition as supplied and accompanied by the original invoice.
• Refunds will be processed in line with ACL requirements.
4. Electrical Parts
• All electrical and electronic components are non-refundable and non-returnable.
• No warranty is offered on electrical items once installed.
5. Shipping & Delivery
• Freight and delivery can be arranged at customer’s expense.
• We are not responsible for delays or damage in transit once parts leave our premises.
• Claims for transport damage must be lodged directly with the freight provider.
6. Exchange & Credits
• Where a replacement part is available, we may supply this instead of a refund.
• Store credit may be offered at our discretion.
7. Liability
• To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of income, downtime, or any indirect damages
arising from use of supplied parts.
• Our responsibility is limited to supplying a suitable replacement or refund as per ACL.
8. Title of Goods
Ownership of goods remains with Darwin 4×4 Cars & Commercials until full payment has been received.
9. Governing Law
