Rangers and the Couriers before them have been common on Territory roads for decades, and we've been wrecking 4x4s in Darwin since 2008. We sell second-hand and reconditioned Ranger and Courier parts over the counter in Winnellie and freight them anywhere in Australia.
Older models are where we're most useful. Once Ford stops supplying a part for a PJ Ranger or a PE Courier, we're often the quickest way to find one.
Ranger models we wreck
- 2022 on: Next-Gen. Engines: 2.0 single-turbo diesel, 2.0 bi-turbo diesel and 3.0 V6 turbo diesel, plus the 3.0 EcoBoost V6 petrol in the Raptor. Gearboxes: 6-speed auto (6R80) on the 2.0 single-turbo, 10-speed auto on the bi-turbo, V6 and Raptor.
- 2018 to 2022: PX III. Engines: 2.2 P4AT and 3.2 P5AT diesels, and the 2.0 bi-turbo diesel. Gearboxes: 6-speed manual (MT82), 6-speed auto (6R80), and 10-speed auto (10R80) with the bi-turbo.
- 2015 to 2018: PX II. Engines: 2.2 P4AT and 3.2 P5AT diesels. Gearboxes: 6-speed manual (MT82) and 6-speed auto (6R80).
- 2011 to 2015: PX. Engines: 2.2 P4AT and 3.2 P5AT diesels, plus a 2.5 petrol in some 2WD models. Gearboxes: 6-speed manual (MT82), 6-speed auto (6R80), and a 5-speed manual with the petrol.
- 2006 to 2011: PJ and PK. Engines: 2.5 WLAT and 3.0 WEAT turbo diesels. Gearboxes: 5-speed manual and 5-speed auto.
Courier models we wreck
Before the Ranger, Ford sold the Courier. It was built alongside the Mazda Bravo, so parts often swap between the two.
- 1999 to 2006: PE, PG and PH. Engines: 2.5 WL-T turbo diesel and 2.6 G6 petrol, plus a 4.0 V6 petrol in later PH models. Gearboxes: 5-speed manual.
- 1990s: PC and PD. Engines: 2.6 G6 petrol, and the 2.5 WL-T turbo diesel in later PD models. Gearboxes: 5-speed manual.
