These are the main engines and gearboxes fitted to the Navara in Australia since 1990. We sell used engines and gearboxes for these models. Ask us about any of them.
- D27, 2025 on. Engines: 2.4 twin-turbo diesel (4N16). Gearboxes: 6-speed auto.
- D23 NP300, 2015 on. Engines: 2.3 single and twin-turbo diesel (YS23). Gearboxes: 6-speed manual, 7-speed auto.
- D40, 2005 to 2015. Engines: 2.5 turbo diesel (YD25), 4.0 V6 petrol (VQ40), 3.0 V6 turbo diesel (V9X, from 2010). Gearboxes: 6-speed manual, 5-speed auto, 7-speed auto (V9X only).
- D22, 1997 to 2015. Engines: 2.4 petrol (KA24E, then KA24DE from 1999), 2.7 diesel (TD27), 3.2 diesel (QD32), 3.0 V6 petrol (VG30, from 2000), 3.3 V6 petrol (VG33E, from 2003), 3.0 turbo diesel (ZD30, from late 2001), 2.5 turbo diesel (YD25, from 2008). Gearboxes: 5-speed manual, 4-speed auto on petrol models.
- D21, 1986 to 1997. Engines: 2.4 petrol (Z24, fuel injected on upper models from 1992), 3.0 V6 petrol (VG30E), 2.7 diesel (TD27). Gearboxes: 5-speed manual, 4-speed auto.
