Older Patrols are our specialty. Nissan stopped supplying plenty of GQ and early GU parts years ago, and those are exactly the parts people come to us for.
Patrol models we wreck
These are the main engines and gearboxes fitted to the Patrol in Australia since 1990. We sell used engines and gearboxes for these models. Ask us about any of them.
- Y62, 2013 on. Engines: 5.6 V8 petrol (VK56VD). Gearboxes: 7-speed auto.
- GU Y61, 1997 to 2016. Engines: 4.5 petrol (TB45), 4.8 petrol (TB48, from late 2001), 4.2 diesel (TD42), 4.2 turbo diesel (TD42T, from 1999, intercooled from 2003), 2.8 turbo diesel (RD28, early models), 3.0 turbo diesel (ZD30, from 2000, common rail from 2007). Gearboxes: 5-speed manual, 4-speed auto (including the first diesel auto Patrol, the ZD30, from 2000).
- GQ Y60, 1988 to 1997. Engines: 4.2 petrol (TB42, fuel injected from 1992), 3.0 petrol (RB30), 4.2 diesel (TD42), 2.8 turbo diesel (RD28, from 1995). Gearboxes: 5-speed manual, 4-speed auto on the 4.2 petrol. The RD28 was manual only.
