These are the main engines and gearboxes fitted to the Pathfinder in Australia since 1990. We sell used engines and gearboxes for these models. Ask us about any of them.
- R53, 2022 on. Engines: 3.5 V6 petrol (VQ35DD). Gearboxes: 9-speed auto.
- R52, 2013 to 2021. Engines: 3.5 V6 petrol (VQ35), 2.5 supercharged petrol hybrid. Gearboxes: CVT.
- R51, 2005 to 2013. Engines: 2.5 turbo diesel (YD25), 4.0 V6 petrol (VQ40), 3.0 V6 turbo diesel (V9X, Ti 550 from late 2010). Gearboxes: 6-speed manual or 5-speed auto (diesel), 5-speed auto (V6 petrol), 7-speed auto (V9X).
- R50, 1995 to 2005. Engines: 3.3 V6 petrol (VG33E). Gearboxes: 4-speed auto.
- WD21, 1986 to 1995. Engines: 2.4 petrol, 3.0 V6 petrol (VG30E, from 1993). Gearboxes: 5-speed manual, 4-speed auto (V6).
